INTERIOR DESIGNS
The encyclopaedia, Britannica, describes Interior Design as – ‘Planning and Design of man – made spaces, a part of environmental design and closely related to Architecture’. Even though the buildings have always been constructed keeping in mind the desire to create a pleasant environ within, the term Interior Design is relatively new. Its first usage goes back to 1927.
Great designs can only be delivered by people with deep social and cultural understanding of the people and communities they design for. As Interior designers, we plan, research, coordinate and manage the delicate balance between the function, climate, style, budget and culture to achieve healthy and aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space.
